Library Assistants
£7.45 per hour
I have a requirement for people who possess an Enhanced Disclosure Certificate from Disclosure Scotland, which was issued within the last 6 months, and have customer service experience. It is not sufficient to have Basic Disclosure - it must be Enhanced. This is a temporary opportunity and it takes the form of occasional shifts at libraries throughout Edinburgh. These are usually at short notice, often on the same day or the next day. There are morning shifts, afternoon shifts and early evening shifts and combinations of these. They can be any day Monday to Saturday. The role is that of library assistant and involves administration and dealing with the public. The rate of pay is £7.45 per hour plus holiday pay.
