Corporate Legal Secretary
c.£29,000 per annum

Our client is a successful specialist legal firm who are looking for a Corporate Legal Secretary.

In addition to typing and secretarial work, the job will focus on:

  • High-profile presentations, including preparation of documents, which need to be accurate.

  • Dealing with clients on the phone and in person when visiting the office for meetings

  • Set-up of client meetings in the office, including teas and coffees

  • Some Reception work.

Previous experience in a similar role in a legal firm is essential. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. The salary is in the region of £29,000 per annum.

Domestic Conveyancing Paralegal
£30,000 per annum plus

This is a permanent, full-time position in Edinburgh for an experienced Domestic Conveyancing Paralegal.  Our client is looking for a qualified Paralegal who has sufficient experience to hit the ground running and who is able to work on their own and handle cases from start to finish. 

You must have experience of processing property sales and purchases from offer to conclusion including missives. This includes preparation and submission of Registration and LBTT forms. You will also handle re-mortgages and equity releases, so you must have experience of this too. A good knowledge of Money Laundering Regulations and procedures following The Land Registration etc (Scotland) Act 2012 are essential.

The hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, and the offices are in the west end of Edinburgh city centre. For a Paralegal with the above experience, our client expects to pay £30,000 per annum plus.
